Great first race. Out varsity boys took a fifth place finish and showed they are ready to compete in the District X this year.
Many high finishes and great performances. Very proud. No practice on Monday . . . come back strong next week.

Emily Stoyer said that she and the other two JH girls were suppose to get a ribbon but didn't for some reason, was wondering if that was true and what the reason was.
McDowell is notorious for misinformation--they usually advertise one thing and do another. It is unfortunate. However, it is simply the best competition we can get this early in the season, hence the reason we still go there. And it's close. Our girls did great even without the ribbons to verify it. The rest of the races give plenty of recognition and are accurate in their information. Sorry...
